Sure you want it done as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, "fast" and "quality" don't exist together in harmony. The faster you go, quality in craftsmanship decreases. We have developed specific techniques to speed up the process just a bit, while maintaining the level of quality you want and expect.
Approximately 90% of all jobs that are accepted are on a flat-rate basis. We believe that having a fair flat rate allows the client to be comfortable in knowing that there are no hidden charges. If your project takes longer than expected, it shouldn't be your problem. Many companies prefer a "blank check" by charging for Time & Materials. Unfortunately, this allows them control the cost of the job, rather than you. It's your money... Why let someone else control it?
The remaining 10% of our jobs are charged on a Time and Material Basis. These jobs are usually restoration projects of architectural classics. With a full restoration, authenticity has no pricetag. Using materials that were used 60 years ago are hard to come by, and often requires special deliveries, quantities and often times special permits. The amount of time to restore 60 years worth of neglect often takes longer than the average new construction or remodeled job. Those of you who have restored a piece of history know exactly what we're talking about.
This particular project took over 2 years to complete. The painting and restoration of the Authentic Aluminum framing and woodwork took approximately 8 months.
